Modern factory Engine Control Units (ECUs) come equipped with an engine immobiliser in order to prevent the engine from starting without the factory key. These immobiliser functions have to be defeated in order to successfully use the correct ECU and wiring looms in an engine conversion. The only choices available until now were to either use costly aftermarket management systems (losing drivability and reliability, not to mention potential power), or to install the donor vehicle's instrument cluster and associated immobiliser components.

This is no longer the case. Custom-Code Immobiliser Defeat allows you to effectively turn off the Immobiliser function within the ECU. Allowing installation of the correct OEM ECU Sensors and Components without having to install the instrument cluster from the doner vehicle.

Custom-Code's Immobiliser Defeat service allows the use of the stock ECU, wiring looms and all the original sensors. There are also sensors that can be turned off, eliminating the need for cats etc. This service is available in conjunction with the Custom-Code software.
