Based on a Mk 1 Golf Caddy 1.6 carburettor finished in Pastel Blue and fitted with a 1.8 20v Turbo 150 bhp engine from a 2004 Audi A3.
This vehicle has had a minimalist look to the engine bay, with the scuttle panel removed, battery and washer bottle mounted within the cab and all non essentials removed from the engine bay.
Polished pipe work carried out by PSI Tuning, blue Samcos linked to the custom made Forge front mount intercooler; all this is in-keeping with that cool, clean look!

With the 1.8 20v Turbo 150 base engine running all factory ECU wiring loom with Custom Code Phase 1 remap, wire composite cone filter, PSI Tuning custom build stainless steel intercooler pipe work, 2 ¾ stainless exhaust system with side exit tailpipe.
The vehicle is running a 02A gearbox, hydraulic master cylinder conversion with all gearbox and engine mounts fabricated in-house at PSI Tuning.
Late Mk2 big servo 22mm master cylinder running 256mm brake calipers with performance brake discs from the Mintex Extreme range.
This Mk 1 Caddy was inspired and innovated by PSI Tuning to meet that cool, clean look that the Customer required. |
